Licensing Opportunities
The laboratory has established a portfolio of approximately 15 patents on new drug candidates and fluorescence technologies. Several groups of patents have been licensed on an exclusive basis.

We are currently seeking industrial partners / licensees in the following areas:

  • CFTR inhibitors for therapy of polycystic kidney disease
  • Calcium-activated chloride channel inhibitors for diarrhea / mucus secretion
  • Urea transport inhibitors as diuretics in hypertension and heart failure
  • Aquaporin screening methodology and candidate inhibitors
  • Potassium-sensing fluorescent dyes
